This Mains Voltage Electric Underfloor Heating Mat & Manual Thermostat (Digital Thermostat Upgrade available) is an advanced heating system designed to be easily fitted below a tiled floor, allowing you to walk comfortably on its usually cold surface. This sytem has been installed for the last 20 years in both Residential and Commercial applications

It is primarily designed for use on concrete floors but can be easily installed on top of  a wooden sub floor by either using a tile backing board or a thin screed of flexible tile adhesive.  It has a full earth screen and is waterproof so can be fitted in wet areas such as walk in showers etc

The Comfort Mat System is constructed of a tough open nylon mat with an integral conductor and resistance cable. It is only 3.5mm thick and well able to withstand tough installations and is installed directly within the flexible tile adhesive.

The insulation covering of the heating element is made from TEFLON and the external covering is woven wire braid with a further PVC sheath making it very durable and 100% waterproof
