Our mains voltage Foil system is an ideal heating solution for a floating Real Wood or Laminate Flooring

Simple to fit and can be cut to size (every 20cm lengh ways)  to ensure a comfortable warm environment on your new Wooden Floor.

The Foil must only be installed in dry areas.

Many other systems suitable for timber floor require to be installed in the cement screed below the floor level. Our foil based product is perfect for fitting directly underneath floating wooden, parquet or laminate floors. 

It is a very thin floor heating system (only 0.3 mm!) and very easy to install, and requires no adhesive.

The foil should be placed on a 6mm polystyrene insulation, Comfort Underwood PS Insulation.  This insulation will not only help the efficiency of the system, but also will help reduce the noise levels.

When used in conjunction with our Comfort Digital Thermostat and you control the room temperature to what suits you best. (The floor temperature should be limited to a recommended maximum temperature of 28 Celsius)

Before installing the heating foil, make a sketch or drawing of the installation.

Plan where the thermostat should be placed, and it should not be placed in direct sunlight. It must be convenient for the user and near to the electrical supply, at a height of 1.2 m approx.

Plan where the wiring and the connection to the electrical supply should be placed.

Plan the layout for each heating foil panel. The foil is 600mm wide and can be cut to the required length every 200mm.

The heating foil must be placed side by side with no gaps and should cover as much floor area as possible
